Do you get cell phone coverage in the spot where you have the MiFi device located? If not, try putting it in a spot where you normally get strong cell coverage. One example could be placing it near a window.
Have you been watching videos over the internet connection? Check the data used and the days left in cycle on the device.
When the data used number is over 30GB within a cycle, it’s possible the device has used its data limit and internet speeds will be throttled, just like you might have on a cell phone.
