Yes, kids get their own library card!

Parents or legal guardians simply need to fill out the online registration form with their child's name. Within 24 hours of completing the form, you will receive an email at the email address listed in registration that contains your child's TSCPL Ecard barcode and temporary PIN. Staff will mail out a TSCPL Ecard to eligible borrowers for address verification.

Applicants must visit the Library or a Bookmobile and show identification to obtain an All Access Library Card. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, a rental agreement, a student ID, vehicle registration, or other similar forms.

Note: Your child may also quality for a TSCPL@School card. When you register your child for school at any public school district in Shawnee County, you have the option to opt-in to getting your child a TSCPL@School card. Children can have both a school card and a regular library card. School cards are often used in a classroom setting so teachers can work with students using the tools and resources available to them through our digital collection.
