Q. Why is an ILL request I retured to a bookdrop still listed on my interlibrary loan account?

Answer

Items returned via the Book Drops are picked up on a regular schedule. Since the book drops are widely dispersed throughout Shawnee County, it take more time for staff to process these items.

We recommend interlibrary loan items be returned to staff at the library's customer service desk or a Bookmobile because items returned to book drops can be lost and since they are not checked in they are still your responsibility.
